666 Live is a fans only affair from beginning to end. The CD portion of the CD/DVD set is taken from their concert in Düsseldorf, Germany, where the band is adored as much as they are in Canada. The crowd roars along to the band’s singles ‘Try Honesty,’ ‘The Ex,’ and ‘Devil in a Midnight Mass,’ but save the most impressive response for the band’s fight song, ‘Red Flag.’

If you’re not a fan, you’ll notice that Ben Kowalewicz’s voice misses more often than it hits, and Ian D’Sa’s guitar sounds a little bit off through much of the concert. What the band lacks in execution, though, it makes up for in intensity, and it’s hard for even the band’s biggest critic not to be impressed with the passion they inspire in their audience.
