Top 5 of 2005

Categories : Special Features.

Each year, the fine folks at music-critic.ca get together and argue for a couple hours about which CDs of the year they liked best. Last year, the biggest arguments were caused by The White Stripes, Linkin Park vs. Jay-Z, and Shania Twain. Because we couldn’t agree which were the Top 5 of 2005, we each wrote up our own little list so that Santa Claus / Hanukkah Harry would know what to bring us for Christmaka.

Following in that tradition, we are happy to bring you this year’s list. In fact, to give you a little sneak peak, here are the #1 discs which we have selected, in no particular order:

Franz Ferdinand – You Could Have It So Much Better…
Sufjan Stevens – Illnoise
Thrice – Vheissu
MIA – Arular

Intrigued? Curious as to why four people agreed on Sufjan Stevens as the top release of the year? Click here for more…
